On April 17th, Indiana's News Center's Chief Meteorologist, Curtis Smith, visited Watson second graders. He explained the job of a meteorologist and taught them about the features of weather. Afterward students wrote thank you letters to him. Here are some of the comments:
"Today is supposed to be a warm front."
"I learned that ditches are safe during tornadoes."
"I liked that you used a green screen and not a map."
"Cold air likes to go down. Warm air likes to go up."
"We loved you coming. It was a real gift for us."
