On January 4, 2013, Riley Winebrenner, won the school level
competition of the National Geography Bee by answering the winning
question: Where is Greenwich located? She successfully said England.
During the Bee, eight classroom representatives, from fourth and fifth
grade, answered questions about geography. The National Geographic
Society sponsored the Bee. Our school’s runner up was Corbyn White.
The school winners from across the state, including Riley, will
take a written test, and the top 100 scorers in Indiana will advance
to the state competition which will be held in March.
