5th Grade

My name is Mrs. Schiffli
. I currently teach fifth grade, and I have also taught fourth grade. I attended Huntington University which is where I obtained my degree in Elementary Education with a kindergarten endorsement. One of my favorite things about teaching fifth graders is helping my students grow both as learners and as well-rounded individuals. My daily challenge is to help my students understand that the choices they make now will affect who they become in the future. My goal is to help them understand the importance of making good choices in their learning and in their social interactions.

My name is Mrs. Seigel!  I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University.  I have taught both fourth and fifth grades.  One of my favorite things about teaching fifth grade is watching the students grow as learners and become prepared for the middle school!  My goal is to create a learning environment where all students feel safe to learn, and to look forward to coming to school each day!

Hello! My name is Mr. White and I teach 5th grade. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne. The reason I became a teacher is because I wanted to provide the next generation with the skills necessary to be successful in life. My favorite part of teaching is seeing the students’ self-esteem and self-concept grow when they learn a new skill or concept. My goal everyday is to provide my students with a safe environment to ensure the best opportunity to grow academically, emotionally, and socially.
