1st Grade

Hello, I am Mrs. Post! I received my Elementary Education Degree with a Kindergarten endorsement from Huntington University. The best part of teaching is being able to help my students reach their highest potential. In first grade, they grow so much and love learning!

Hello, I am Mrs. Browand.  I earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University-Bloomington with an Area of Concentration in Mathematics. I have taught various levels of education which include alternative high school, GED preparation, Reading Recovery (1st grade) for 7 years as well as tutoring Kindergarten through 5th grade.  Several Reading Recovery Training Conferences as well as Literacy Collaborative Trainings at Purdue University are just a few of the many training opportunities that I have completed.  My favorite part of my job is seeing my students grow so much in just one year and building life-long
relationships with them.

My name is Mrs. Warner, and I teach first grade.  I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a kindergarten endorsement from IPFW. I love teaching first graders because I get to see them come in as beginning readers and leave as confident
readers.

Hello! I'm Mrs. Nan. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with Special Education minors in Emotional Disabilities and Learning Disabilities from Butler University. I also received my Master's Degree of Education from Butler. I have taught Special Education and also kindergarten, second, third, and currently am teaching fourth grade. My favorite part of teaching is helping a struggling student discover how to do something that they have not been able to do before. I enjoy analyzing the problem, then designing other ways of teaching the skill so that the child can understand.
