4th Grade

Hello! I am Mrs. Maple, and I have been teaching fourth grade since 1998. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, along with majors in Business Administration and Social Work. I also hold a Master's Degree in Education. I enjoy working with families to ensure each child will be a successful learner. It is both humbling and rewarding to see the amazing work that fourth graders are capable of producing.

Hello! I'm Mrs. Samuelson. I moved to Auburn in 1993 and began my teaching career as a substitute teacher for DeKalb Central Schools. This allowed me to teach many different subjects and grade levels. Since that time, I have called JRW home! I have taught Developmental Reading, 1st grade, 2nd grade, and most recently 4th grade. I am a graduate of Indiana University, where I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with Middle School Endorsements in Social Studies and Language Arts. My favorite thing about teaching is getting to know my students and making learning fun. It is very exciting watching students learn new things everyday!

Hello! I am Mrs. Smith!
I received my Bachelor’s degree with a kindergarten endorsement from Ball State. My goal each and everyday is to promote a safe and positive environment for each child to be successful. My favorite thing about fourth grade is the students’ eagerness to learn.
