Special Services

Hello! My name is Mrs. Bender, and I'm so excited to be teaching Special Education at James R. Watson Elementary.
I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education from IPFW.   I have taught 1st grade at Study Elementary in Fort Wayne in addition to special education.  I'm looking forward to working in Special Education this year and helping the students in the resource room become the best readers and mathematicians they can be!

Hello! I am Ms. Campos Heimann. I graduated from Ball State University with a Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology. I have worked in a variety of settings including schools, nursing homes, and hospitals. I work with students on articulation, language, fluency, voice, phonological awareness, and assistive technology. I enjoy helping children to communicate more effectively with their teachers and peers! I have five wonderful children that keep me busy in my spare time.
