Eagle Student Studio News
Our Eagle Student Studio produces James R. Watson's virtual daily announcements. The announcements are pre-recorded and played at the beginning of the day in each classroom. Students sign up for this afterschool activity and are selected based on their responses, and teacher recommendations. Every 9 weeks, three 5th grade students, two fourth grade students, and one 3rd grade student are invited to join the team. ESS news meets twice a week for one hour after school. Much of the work is completed virtually at home. ESS news members rotate through the jobs of scriptwriter, news hosts, camera operator, director, and editor.
