James R. Watson Elementary

At James R. Watson Elementary, we are proud to offer a high-quality preschool program, rated Paths to Quality Level 3, giving our youngest learners a strong foundation for future success. Our curriculum emphasizes Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics (S.T.E.A.M.) and incorporates Project-Based Learning (PBL) to encourage creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving. Students participate in weekly specials, including art, music, physical education, library, and computer science, ensuring a well-rounded education. Outside of the regular school day, our after-school robotics club and competitions provide engaging opportunities for exploration and innovation. With a full-time dean, counselor, and nurse on staff, we prioritize the well-being and support of every student. Smaller class sizes, averaging 22 students, allow us to provide personalized attention and create a learning environment where every child can grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
