Arrival/Dismissal Procedures for Car Riders

Arrival: (USE THE ECKHART AVE. ENTRANCE – 4-way stop)

1. Students should be dropped off *Please note:  Due to lack of supervision, it is extremely important that students do not arrive at school before the arrival time (7:25 daily except Wed. 8:25.*
2. All vehicles must drop off in the main parking lot. (REFER TO MAP BELOW).
3. Please follow the map below.  When clear, proceed along the curb.  Please pull ahead to the orange cone.
4. Students should disembark on the curbside only to avoid traffic passing on the driver’s side.
5. Students should enter through Door #1.  (Main Entrance)
6. To exit, loop around to exit on Eckhart Ave or exit straight out to Cleveland St. (stop at the stop sign).

Dismissal Procedures:

1. PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE LOT BEFORE 2:00.  DOING SO BLOCKS THE FIRE LANE IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY.
2. All vehicles must line up at the Eckhart Ave. entrance, coming from the north, for pick-up. (RED Arrows on the map below)
3. After 2:00 the first car to arrive should lead all cars to enter the school parking lot, stop at the orange cone, and wait for students to be dismissed.  Students will be called by families or those riding together beginning at 2:20 in the order of the cars pulling in.  Please display your sign in your window.
4. Please pull ahead to the orange cone or to the car in front of you and wait for your child to load from the curbside only. (safest method)
5. Use caution in pulling away from the curb as cars behind you may be passing to your left to exit.
6. Loop around to exit the parking lot through Eckhart Ave.  Cleveland St. will be available once ALL buses have cleared the West lot. (RED Arrows on the map below)
