Student Leadership
The JRW Student Leadership Team is a group of 3rd-5th-grade students who meet once a month with two JRW staff sponsors. These students have been selected to represent the school based on their demonstrated leadership qualities. During monthly meetings, the Leadership Team manages school-wide recycling, plans school-wide fundraisers, helps plan and carry out annual Veterans' Day Programs, facilitates fun activities to raise money for Relay for Life, selects and awards two DeKalb seniors with scholarships, and much, much more. The funds collected by the Student Leadership Team go towards scholarships, school projects, fun events for the school, and donations to our local animal shelter.
