Weekly Update - JRW

Posted Date: 8/24/25 (5:00 PM)

Dear Eagle Families,
I hope this message finds you well and that you’ve had a wonderful weekend!
Here are a few important updates and reminders:

🎨 Color Me Watson Run

Information about this exciting event was sent home last weekend. The run will take place on Sunday, September 8th. We’re looking forward to a fun and colorful day with our Watson community!

🚗 Car Line Reminders

To help ensure safety and efficiency during drop-off and pick-up:
  • Please have your child(ren) exit on the passenger side of the vehicle.
  • If you need to park and exit your car, do not do so in the car line — please use the parking lot.
  • In the afternoon, make sure your car sign is clearly visible.
Thank you for your cooperation — it truly is a team effort!

📚 IREAD Success!

We’re thrilled to share that JRW achieved a nearly 98% IREAD pass rate last year — the highest in our school’s history and well above the state expectation of 95%! This is a testament to the dedication of our students, teachers, and YOU — our families. We are so proud of this shared success!

🌯 Chipotle Dine to Donate – Support JRW PTO!

Join us on Thursday, August 28th from 4:00–8:00 PM at Chipotle and help raise funds for the JRW PTO.
25% of sales will be donated back to support our school!
To ensure your order counts:
  • Tell the cashier you’re supporting JRW PTO
  • Show the flyer (printed or digital) at checkout
  • Order online for pickup using our fundraiser code 9LRAEVV via the Chipotle app or website
Note: Orders placed through third-party apps (e.g., DoorDash, Uber Eats) or outside the 4–8 PM window will not count toward the fundraiser.
Let’s come together for great food and a great cause — and help raise some serious “guac” for our school! 🥑
