Good Evening,

As the weather cools down, please make sure your child(ren) bring a jacket to school if they get cold easily. We have an early morning recess daily, and temperatures at that time are significantly lower than the daily high temperature.

📌 Staff In-Service & Upcoming Days Off
A reminder that our staff has an in-service day next Thursday, October 1st. This professional development day is a great opportunity for our team to collaborate and continue building high-quality educational experiences for our students.

• Thursday, October 1st: No school for students (Staff In-Service)
• Friday, October 2nd: No school

🏃 Elementary Cross Country Race
The Elementary Cross Country Race is scheduled for Tuesday, October 6th. If your child is interested in participating, please review the attached flyer for full details and registration information.

🚌 PTO Field Trip Coverage
A huge thank you to our amazing JRW PTO, who has generously offered to cover all expenses for students on field trips for the 2026–2027 school year! This incredible support is just another reminder of what makes Watson such a special community. We are deeply grateful for their generosity toward our students and families.
